Married people-do you think it’s okay for spouses to take seperate vacations?
Not all the time, but now and again. We can only afford one big vacation a year and have gone seperately in the past now and again.
This year my husband wants costa rica and I’m not interested. I want Japan and he does not. So we will just go our own way. He’ll go with a surf group and I’ll go with a women’s adventure tour.
Friends think this is strange or bad, what do you think?

Married 12 years, I’m not worried about cheating.
At first I thought “Oh heck NO!!” but since you both are going with a group that is GREAT!! It would be different if you were both solo b/c that would be boring. But you have it all planned out and it sounds really interesting!
To everyone that says he might cheat ect… anyone can cheat they don’t have to leave the country to do that! If a man wants to cheat on his wife he would do it. As long as you have a healthy relationship you do not need to worry about your guy cheating. And if you are worried that means that there are bigger issues in your life or marriage that you need to deal with!
So go and have FUN!! You both are Individual afterall, just b/c you are married does not mean you have to do every single thing together.
