I am Going to costa rica Ideas?
I’m 16 and going to visit my friend in Costa Rica. I want to know everything about it. How expensive it is, what airline to use, cool things to do (she lives in San Jose) and pretty much anything you can tell me about Costa Rica. Anything I should be concerned with or need to do before I leave besides the passport thing?
It is very pretty and Costa Rica has many things to do and see.
It is a little more expensive than other countries in the region but well worth it.
TACA is the airline which bought off Lacsa the national airline and is the best one to use, however many other airlines that fly here are good too.
In San Jose, which is the capital you can do a lot of sight seeing , city tours and see some museums and old buildings, do not wear gold or flash money on the street, learn what parts of the city are not good to walk after dark.
There are also many nice tours to take, you should visit the Tortuguero canals, the island of Tortuga, the beaches on both sides, the volcanoes,the hot water springs and the canopy tours are all very fun to do.
Many people speak at least basic english as a second language and are very friendly, but do not leave any belongings unattended where ever you go.
