costa rica food recipes

Costa Rica Information and Recipes?
So my spanish class does this thing called “tapa tuesdays”. We either bring in interesting information about costa rica or some food testers. The information has to be INTERESTING! haha. and ive looked at food recipes like the rice and beans, but that just seems like a little too much for a big class. Do you have any ideas? thanks =]
My favorite fact about C.R. is that it had the 3 public service electrical plant in the world. Only New York City and Paris had electrical service earlier. For a short while in the second half of the 1800s costa rica was tremendously wealthy due to its sale of coffee to Europe and North America. SO, explain that little tidbit to them and make some coffee.
Here coffee it is drunk fairly weak and over-sweetened and often with lots of milk. And teach them the phrase you hear when coffee is served, “Mas cafe que leche, por favor” which means more coffee than milk, please. If you do not say that your coffee comes with more milk than coffee.
