Drive from San Jose to Volcán Arenal?
Visiting costa rica this November and my hotel told me it would take 3.5 hours to travel by car from San Jose to the Arenal volcano. Is this accurate? It does not look really far on the map.
Also, are the roads from San Jose to Arenal pretty easy to navigate? I am just trying to plan ahead and I would like to be prepared. Any advice would be helpful. Suggestions? =)
2 to 3 would be more accurate, it is a short distance but the roads are very twisty

A big must on your list of things to do in C.R. November is an excellent month to come, low tourist season a little windy, at the end of the rainy season, good visibility of the cone of the volcano in this month
