Help with costa rica vacation- San Jose, Arenal, Santa Teresa, Montezuma, Cabo Blanco?
Hi- I am trying to plan a surprise activity for my boyfriend’s birthday when we go to Costa Rica in Feb. We’ll be going to San Jose, Arenal, Santa Teresa, Montezuma and Cabo Blanco. We are already planning ziplining, white water rafting, surf lessons and hot springs. Does anyone know an activity in one of those places that would be a great surprise? Maybe a boat ride or unique tour or kayaking or a special meal or something? Thanks for your help!
Arenal definitely offers a lot of opportunities for experiences like these. One adventure you might want to check out there is the canyoning experience. That was loads of fun. Montezuma is also a good spot for stuff like this. Private companies in Montezuma often run boats to Isla Tortuga off Nicoya Peninsula. It’s a great little island to check out, plus it has awesome snorkeling! As for Cabo Blanco, that’s more of a national park than a town, and it offers a lot in the way of scenic beauty and wildlife.
