How is shopping/dining/nightlife in Quepos/Manuel Antonio?
I am vacationing in costa rica and am staying in Manuel Antonio/Quepos area. I was going to choose Jaco but am concerned about drug/crime scene. I know Quepos is quieter but is there really not much of a social/entertainment scene there? I would like to do the outdoor activities during the day but would love to dine, shop, and bar hop at night. Thanks!
I love Quepos. First time I went there, it was on a dirt road. The best thing about Quepos is inexpensive compared to Manuel Antonio which is a stones throw away.
Quepos has a very good social/entertainment scene (nowhere as crazy as Jaco) and has a ton of recreation. You can bar hop and the town has been Americanize but with old world culture
