famous people from costa rica?
i’m doing a project on costa rica and can’t find any famous artists, musicians, writers, or athletes. can anyone help me?

there’s a lot of famous bands u can youtube:
*evolucion (independent, awesome, very known band, like represents costa rican rock very well, been together for a long time, rock)
*ghandi (very lnown band, independent,, just amazing I love it, rock)
*kadeho (another big band, independent, rock)
*el guato (independent, aaahh favorite band, saw them last week at a gig, ska)
*garbanzos (another fav! ska)
*por partes (this is more mainstream here, pop)
*escats (another big mainstream hit, pop)
*Le pop (pop, very mainstream, like MTV kinda mainstream)
singers:
*balerom (rock, he is the lead singer on evolucion, he did a solo album and I love it, independent)
*maria jose castillo (pffff winner of the stupid show “Latin american idol, somehow she’s like the big thing nowdays, I hate her, L-A-M-E)
*maribel guardia (famous actress and ranchera singer, she’s famous here and even more in mexico)
athletes:
*mostly any soccer player is like a God (like is the same in england, argentina, brazil, spain…) soccer is like a religion here, so any player form “saprissa” or “la liga” is a big thing… ex: alonso solis, walter centeno, paulo cesar wanchope, carlos hernandez, celso borges…
